Worldwide D&D Game Day: DM's needed!
Well guys, WotC has finally sent me some preview information on Worldwide D&D game day and it looks like this year we're ramping things up a bit from 2007.
For starters, it looks like the sign up list supports 80 players, which means there should be plenty of prize support to go around for everyone who wants to play. Also, unlike last year, there's two events planned instead of one: a straight up module (4.0 rules!) and a really cool 'monster arena' combat scenario (your party vs. a White Dragon!).
Anyway, I'm going to need your help on this one if we're going to make sure this one goes as well as it did in 2007. Just like last year, I would like to ask for a few dedicated volunteers to run the module and the arena. I haven't figured out yet if I should have the same DM run the module and then the arena immediately thereafter or have separate DM's set up for each.
In any case, each session of the module supports 5 players at a time, so if we could set up maybe 4 or 5 4-hour sessions (last year we ended up running a total of 10 tables, if I remember correctly) it would be great.
If you're interested in helping out, please don't be shy and chime in - once I have the DM's in place with their set slot hours, I can start signing up players.
Any questions or suggestions are also welcome!
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Sincerely,
